About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic Dental Assistant to help us deliver world-class oral health services. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our patients feel comfortable and receive the highest quality of care during every visit.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist chairside during examinations, procedures, and surgeries.
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and sterilization standards.
- Prepare and organize treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials.
- Take and develop high-quality dental X-rays and intraoral photographs.
- Manage patient records, including updating charts and scheduling appointments accurately.
- Provide post-operative instructions and educate patients on oral hygiene practices.
- Assist with front desk duties, including insurance verification and patient check-in.
Qualifications
- Current Expanded Duty Dental Assistant (EDDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification in Texas.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) for Healthcare Providers certification.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a general dentistry practice.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient comfort.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with dental software and electronic health records (EHR).
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation.
