About the Role:
The ideal candidate will be a team player with a strong focus on patient comfort and clinical precision. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our dental procedures run smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments, materials, and equipment.
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring proper technique.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) and intraoral images.
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control and sterilization protocols.
- Manage patient records, update charts, and schedule follow-up appointments.
- Greet patients warmly, verify insurance information, and explain post-operative care.
- Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and dietary recommendations.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Dental Assisting program or equivalent certification (CDA/RDA).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- 1-2 years of clinical dental assisting experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centric approach.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks.
- Proficiency with dental software and digital imaging systems is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
