Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument transfer, suction, and patient positioning
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Manage patient records and digital charting software
- Provide chairside assistance during restorative and surgical procedures
- Ensure strict infection control protocols are maintained
- Coordinate patient flow and schedule management
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (DANB or state equivalent)
- 1+ years clinical experience in a general dental practice
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency in dental imaging software (e.g., Dexis, Eaglesoft)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and dental sterilization standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and commitment to patient care
