Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including restorative, surgical, and orthodontic treatments
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for efficient patient flow
- Take dental impressions and perform sterilization protocols
- Manage patient records using digital dental software (Dentrix/Epic)
- Provide chairside support and patient education on oral hygiene
- Order inventory and maintain clinical supply organization
- Coordinate with front office for seamless patient scheduling
Qualifications
- Current Nebraska Dental Assistant certification or DANB certification
- Minimum 2 years of chairside dental assisting experience
- Proficiency in digital radiography and infection control protocols
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and instruments
- CPR/BLS certification (current or obtainable within 30 days)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
