Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures with high accuracy.
- Maintain strict sterilization and infection control protocols.
- Perform digital X-rays and take accurate dental impressions.
- Manage patient intake forms and update electronic health records.
- Provide chairside support and educate patients on oral hygiene.
- Ensure treatment rooms are clean, organized, and fully stocked.
Qualifications
- Certificate or diploma in Dental Assisting.
- Current New York State Dental Assistant License.
- Certified in BLS (Basic Life Support).
- Proficiency with dental software (e.g., Eaglesoft, Dexis).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work well in a team.
