Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures with instrument preparation and patient comfort
- Take dental X-rays and develop radiographs under supervision
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize equipment following OSHA protocols
- Manage patient scheduling and maintain digital records
- Provide post-procedure care instructions and answer patient questions
- Order inventory and manage clinic supplies
- Assist with front desk duties when needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong willingness to learn and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle physical tasks
- Basic computer proficiency and eagerness to learn dental software
- Valid CPR certification (will provide training)
- Texas state dental assistant registration (will assist with process)
