Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument handling, suctioning, and patient comfort
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize equipment following OSHA standardsTake and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with proper radiation safety
- Manage patient flow, scheduling, and digital charting
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
- Maintain inventory and order dental supplies
- Assist in infection control protocols and waste management
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- No prior dental experience necessary - we train!
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain during training)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow protocols
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle physical tasks
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
- Background check and drug screen required
