Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with proper safety protocols
- Perform infection control and sterilization of instruments and equipment
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient procedures
- Manage patient records, schedule appointments, and handle insurance documentation
- Provide chairside support and ensure patient comfort throughout visits
- Order supplies and maintain inventory of dental materials
Qualifications
- No prior dental experience required – we provide full paid training!
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain before hire)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new procedures
- Basic computer literacy for patient record management
