Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure client safety and comfort.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning based on dietary restrictions.
- Administer medication reminders and track daily health logs accurately.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties to maintain a clean living environment.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients to reduce isolation.
- Communicate effectively with clients and their families regarding care plans.
Qualifications
- Current Texas Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Valid Texas Driver’s License and current auto insurance.
- Pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Compassionate nature with a patient and respectful attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
