Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for optimal efficiency
- Capture diagnostic X-rays and maintain accurate patient records
- Deliver patient education on oral hygiene and treatment procedures
- Sterilize equipment and maintain OSHA compliance standards
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies
- Coordinate seamless patient flow between appointments
Qualifications
- Current Nebraska Dental Assistant certification or DANB certification
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in dental software (e.g., Eaglesoft, Dentrix)
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- CPR certification
- Valid Nebraska driver's license
