Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including examinations, fillings, and extractions
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) following safety protocols
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
- Manage patient records using digital software systems
- Provide chairside support and patient education
- Ensure operatory cleanliness and infection control compliance
- Coordinate patient flow and scheduling
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- No prior dental experience necessary (training provided)
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Florida Dental Radiography certification (training included)
- Background check and drug screen required
