Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Take and develop dental X-rays using digital imaging systems
- Sterilize instruments and maintain operatory cleanliness
- Manage patient records using dental software (EHR training provided)
- Prepare treatment rooms and materials for patient visits
- Provide post-procedure care instructions to patients
- Coordinate inventory of dental supplies and equipment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior dental experience necessary – training provided
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn dental software
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Must pass background check and TB screening
- Valid CPR certification (training available if needed)
