The Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to join our clinical team. In this remote-friendly position, you will support our dentists in delivering top-tier patient care while managing administrative responsibilities from home or the office. Responsibilities
- Clinical Support: Assist dentists during examinations, treatments, and procedures with precision and efficiency.
- Chair-Side Assistance: Prepare instruments, hand materials, and ensure the operatory is sterile and organized.
- Radiography: Capture and process dental X-rays (Panoramic and Periapical) adhering to safety protocols.
- Administrative Flexibility: Handle patient intake, update electronic health records (EHR), and manage appointment scheduling remotely.
- Infection Control: Strictly follow OSHA and CDC guidelines for sterilization and sanitation of all dental tools.
- Patient Education: Explain post-operative care instructions and oral hygiene techniques to patients clearly.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and restock dental supplies to ensure the clinic operates smoothly.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current Hawaii Dental Assistant License or DANB certification.
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a dental setting.
- Skills: Proficient in dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) and X-ray machines.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for patient interaction.
- Reliability: Ability to work both in-office and remote/hybrid schedules as required.
- Professionalism: Strong attention to detail and a compassionate demeanor towards patients.
- Education: High school diploma or GED; dental assisting certificate preferred.
