Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures with efficiency and precision.
- Prepare instruments, materials, and treatment rooms for patient appointments.
- Take and develop digital X-rays, as well as impressions and models as needed.
- Perform chairside sterilization and maintain strict infection control protocols.
- Manage patient charts, update records, and ensure accurate documentation.
- Greet patients, verify insurance information, and provide pre- and post-operative instructions.
- Assist with administrative duties such as scheduling and phone reception.
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) preferred.
- Current Arizona State X-ray license required.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm demeanor.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
