Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with medication reminders
- Monitor clients' health status and report changes to care team
- Transport clients to appointments and social activities
- Perform light housekeeping and errands as needed
- Maintain detailed care records and documentation
- Build trust through consistent, respectful client interactions
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience required
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid Nebraska driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Compassionate nature with patience and strong communication skills
- Reliable transportation to client locations throughout Omaha
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
