Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
- Take dental impressions and process X-rays
- Manage patient charts and digital records accurately
- Deliver post-op instructions and ensure patient comfort
- Coordinate inventory and ordering of dental supplies
- Maintain strict OSHA and HIPAA compliance standards
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or graduate of accredited program
- Michigan Dental Assistant license required
- 1+ years of clinical experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in fast-paced environment
- Experience with Eaglesoft or dental software systems
- CPR certification
