Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Perform sterilization and instrument preparation following OSHA protocols
- Take accurate dental radiographs and assist with digital imaging
- Manage patient scheduling and chair-side coordination
- Maintain precise dental records and inventory management
- Deliver patient education on oral hygiene and treatment plans
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or X-ray license in North Carolina
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft or dental practice management software
- CPR certification and HIPAA compliance knowledge
- Exceptional communication and chair-side manner
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
