Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental X-rays with precision
- Manage patient records and digital charting systems
- Delieve patient education on oral hygiene
- Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed
- Coordinate patient flow and scheduling efficiency
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification or RDA license
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- Proficiency in dental radiography (X-rays)
- Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA compliance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with digital charting (Epic/Dentrix preferred)
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environment
