Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to hospital protocols and state regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient progress, vital signs, and treatment plans accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Maintain a sterile environment and strictly adhere to all infection control and safety standards.
- Provide patient and family education regarding medical conditions, medications, and post-care instructions.
- Utilize remote-friendly scheduling tools to manage shift changes and time-off requests efficiently.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Colorado.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical nursing experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (EHR).
- Ability to travel to various facilities and adapt to different clinical settings.
