Role Overview:
We are seeking empathetic and reliable Caregivers to assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and happiness in their own homes or facility settings.
Responsibilities
- Personal Care Assistance: Help clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and oral hygiene to maintain dignity and hygiene.
- Medication Management: Remind clients to take prescribed medications and assist with administering meds where required.
- Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious meals tailored to the client's dietary needs and preferences.
- Companionship: Engage clients in conversation, hobbies, and activities to promote mental well-being and reduce isolation.
- Light Housekeeping: Perform light cleaning duties such as laundry, vacuuming, and dishwashing to ensure a safe living environment.
- Transportation: Drive clients to medical appointments, social events, or errands as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Certification: Current Texas CNA or Home Health Aide certification is a strong plus but not always mandatory for entry-level.
- Experience: Previous experience in caregiving, nursing assistance, or the healthcare field is preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, bend, stand, and walk for extended periods; ability to assist with transfers.
- Background: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
