Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during restorative and cosmetic procedures
- Perform dental radiographs (X-rays) and maintain imaging equipment
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures
- Implement strict sterilization protocols and infection control standards
- Manage patient records using digital dental software
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
- Coordinate appointment scheduling and inventory management
Qualifications
- Current Florida Dental Assistant certification or DANB certification
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in dental radiography and infection control
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Valid CPR certification
