Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument transfer, suction, and four-handed dentistry
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain OSHA compliance
- Take dental impressions and process radiographs (X-rays)
- Manage patient flow and schedule coordination
- Perform inventory management and restock supplies
- Deliver patient education on oral hygiene and post-procedure care
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification or radiology permit in Texas
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft or similar dental software
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume practice
- Pass background check and drug screening
