Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative treatments and oral surgeries
- Perform chairside duties: instrument transfer, suction management, and material preparation
- Execute diagnostic dental radiographs with digital imaging technology
- Implement strict sterilization protocols and OSHA compliance standards
- Manage patient flow and documentation using practice management software
- Provide post-procedure instructions and emergency care guidance
- Maintain operatory inventory and equipment calibration
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ohio radiography certification (will be provided during training)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (training available)
- Exceptional manual dexterity and fine motor skills
- Strong communication abilities for patient education and team collaboration
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Attention to detail with precise instrument handling
- Pass background check and drug screening
