Responsibilities
- Prepare dental instruments and treatment rooms for patient procedures.
- Assist the dentist chairside during examinations and various dental treatments.
- Take and develop dental X-rays (Radiographs) as directed by the dentist.
- Maintain strict sterilization and infection control protocols.
- Manage patient records, update dental charts, and process insurance paperwork.
- Greet patients, confirm appointments, and explain procedures to ensure comfort.
- Order and manage dental supplies and inventory.
Qualifications
- Current Florida Dental Assistant license or Radiology Certification required.
- CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association) valid.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a dental setting preferred.
- Proficient in dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work well under pressure.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on patient safety.
