Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative treatments and oral surgeries
- Manage sterilization protocols and infection control compliance per CDC guidelines
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure optimal instrument/equipment availability
- Take accurate dental radiographs and digital impressions
- Perform chairside assistance with proper four-handed dentistry techniques
- Manage patient scheduling and digital record maintenance
- Train new staff on clinic protocols and best practices
Qualifications
- Active DANB certification or Colorado Dental Assistant license
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography (X-rays) and imaging software
- Knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance standards
- CPR certification with current BLS credentials
- Proven ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Experience with Eaglesoft or dental practice management software
