Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument preparation, suction, and patient monitoring
- Perform sterilization and maintenance of dental equipment following OSHA protocols
- Take and develop dental X-rays with precision and care
- Manage patient scheduling, records, and insurance verification
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure optimal infection control standards
- Provide post-procedure instructions and compassionate patient education
- Order inventory and maintain organized supply systems
Qualifications
- Ohio Dental Assistant Radiographer certification required
- Minimum 2 years of chairside experience in a general practice
- Current CPR certification and BLS training
- Proficiency in dental software (e.g., Dentrix Eaglesoft)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Strong attention to detail and infection control knowledge
