Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Take and develop accurate dental radiographs using digital X-ray systems
- Manage patient flow, sterilize instruments, and maintain operatory hygiene standards
- Prepare dental materials and equipment for various procedures
- Perform administrative tasks including scheduling, charting, and insurance verification
- Provide chairside assistance and patient education on oral hygiene
Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania Dental Assistant certification or DANB certification
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography (DEXIS/DEXIS Imaging preferred)
- CPR/BLS certification from accredited institution
- Exceptional chairside manner and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and infection control protocols
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment with multitasking skills
