Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during restorative and surgical procedures
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Manage patient records and digital charting systems
- Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols
- Prepare treatment rooms and dental materials
- Provide chairside support during complex procedures
- Deliver patient education on oral hygiene
- Manage inventory and ordering of dental supplies
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent experience
- Current CPR certification
- Experience with digital imaging software (Dentrix/Eaglesoft)
- Kansas dental assisting license (or ability to obtain)
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Exceptional chairside manner and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and organizational excellence
