Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures using 4-handed dentistry techniques
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for efficient workflows
- Implement strict sterilization protocols per OSHA standards
- Manage patient education on oral hygiene and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate digital dental records and inventory systems
- Support front desk operations including scheduling and insurance verification
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (DALECC or DANB)
- Minnesota radiography certification required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft or Dentrix practice management software
- CPR certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for diverse patient populations
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced clinical environments
- High school diploma or equivalent required
