Responsibilities
- Chairside Assistance: Assist the dentist during examinations, treatments, and procedures with precision and efficiency.
- Patient Care: Greet patients, prepare them for procedures, and ensure their comfort throughout the visit.
- Infection Control: Strictly adhere to sterilization and infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment.
- Radiography: Perform and process dental X-rays accurately and in compliance with safety standards.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate patient records, treatment plans, and clinical notes using our practice management software.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and order dental supplies and equipment to ensure the office runs smoothly.
Qualifications
- Certification: Colorado Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) license.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a dental setting.
- Skills: Proficiency in four-handed dentistry, impression taking, and sealant application.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly demeanor.
- License: Current CPR and BLS certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Technology: Comfortable with dental software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft.
