Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Manage digital imaging systems and ensure accurate diagnostic X-rays
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain OSHA compliance
- Administer patient care education and post-op instructions
- Coordinate seamless workflow between clinical and administrative teams
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix/Eaglesoft software
- Assist in inventory management and supply ordering
Qualifications
- Current Arizona Dental Assistant Radiology certification
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- CPR certification and BLS training
- Proficiency with digital radiography and practice management software
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for patient education and team collaboration
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced clinical environments
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
