Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument preparation, suction, and patient positioning
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision
- Perform infection control protocols and sterilization of equipment
- Manage patient scheduling and maintain accurate dental records
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure optimal inventory levels
- Deliver post-operative instructions and patient education
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient flow
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification or X-ray license in Kansas
- Minimum 1 year of clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency in dental software (Eaglesoft/Dentrix preferred)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- CPR certification required
- Positive attitude and commitment to patient comfort
