Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument preparation and patient monitoring
- Sterilize equipment and maintain treatment areas following OSHA protocols
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays) and assist with digital imaging
- Manage patient records and ensure HIPAA compliance
- Prepare treatment rooms and materials for various dental procedures
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Order inventory and maintain dental supply organization
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform precise manual tasks
- Willingness to complete paid training program (no experience necessary)
- Basic computer literacy and attention to detail
- Positive attitude and commitment to patient care
- Nebraska state dental radiology certification (provided during training)
