Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during complex dental procedures
- Manage patient records using digital software (EHR)
- Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA compliance
- Prepare treatment rooms and dental materials
- Take dental impressions and X-rays
- Provide post-operative care instructions
- Coordinate patient scheduling and billing
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or RDA required
- 2+ years of clinical experience
- Strong knowledge of dental instruments
- X-ray certification (Louisiana compliant)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- CPR certification
- Experience with Eaglesoft/Dentrix software
