Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument transfer and suction management
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize equipment, and maintain inventory of dental supplies
- Take digital dental radiographs and perform preliminary impressions
- Manage patient scheduling, records, and insurance verification
- Deliver post-operative instructions and ensure patient comfort
- Train new staff on clinic protocols and safety standards
Qualifications
- Active DANB/CDA certification or state dental assisting license
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography (X-ray) and infection control protocols
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage diverse patient needs
- Experience with Eaglesoft practice management software preferred
- CPR certification and BLS training
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
