Responsibilities
- Provide personalized companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with proper feeding techniques
- Monitor vital signs and report health changes to medical team
- Perform light housekeeping and medication reminders
- Transport clients to appointments and social activities
- Maintain detailed care records and client confidentiality
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Valid North Carolina driver's license and reliable transportation
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Pass comprehensive background check and health screening
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical care tasks
