Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate companionship and daily living assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with medication reminders
- Perform light housekeeping and errands (grocery shopping, appointments)
- Monitor client health status and report changes to care team
- Engage clients in meaningful activities and social interactions
- Maintain accurate care documentation and client confidentiality
- Transport clients to appointments and social outings as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- CPR/First Aid certification required (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid NC driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift 50lbs and perform physical care tasks
- Trustworthy background check and clean driving record
- Flexibility to work weekends and evenings
- High school diploma or equivalent
