Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning based on specific dietary restrictions.
- Provide medication reminders and assist with light errands and shopping.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce isolation and loneliness.
- Monitor client health status and report any changes in condition or behavior to the supervising nurse or family members.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for the client.
- Transport clients to medical appointments, social activities, and recreational outings as needed.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Proven experience in personal care or home health assistance is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
