Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorations, extractions, and orthodontic treatments
- Prepare and sterilize instruments while maintaining OSHA compliance protocols
- Manage patient records and digital imaging systems with precision
- Deliver pre/post-operative instructions and ensure patient comfort
- Oversee inventory management and supply ordering for clinical efficiency
- Train new staff members on clinic-specific protocols and technologies
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification from CODA-accredited program
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft and Dexis imaging software
- Strong knowledge of infection control standards and HIPAA compliance
- Excellent communication skills with diverse patient populations
- CPR/BLS certification and X-ray license (NV State Board)
