Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and treatments while maintaining strict infection control protocols
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument handling and suction management
- Capture and develop high-quality dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Manage inventory and sterilization of dental instruments and equipment
- Execute digital charting and practice management software proficiency
- Deliver patient education on oral hygiene and post-procedure care
- Coordinate seamless front-desk operations including scheduling and billing support
Qualifications
- Active California Dental Assistant certification (RDA or DAEF required)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and imaging systems
- DEXIS/Eaglesoft/DEXIS software expertise preferred
- CPR/BLS certification from recognized provider
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with ability to multitask in fast-paced settings
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
