Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and treatment rooms for dental procedures
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical cases
- Take and develop dental radiographs with precision
- Maintain strict sterilization protocols and inventory management
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Manage digital records using Dentrix/Eaglesoft software
- Coordinate scheduling and chairside efficiency
Qualifications
- Accredited Dental Assistant certification (CODA or DANB)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Active CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency with digital radiography and infection control
- Exceptional chairside manner and communication skills
- Knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
