Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and clinical areas for dental procedures
- Assist dentists during exams, fillings, and extractions
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Manage infection control and sterilization protocols
- Administer local anesthetics and nitrous oxide (certified)
- Maintain accurate patient records and digital charts
- Order inventory and manage supply chain
Qualifications
- Accredited Dental Assistant program or equivalent experience
- Current Georgia Dental Assistant license
- CDA (Certified Dental Assistant) preferred
- Radiology certification required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA regulations
- Excellent chairside manner and communication skills
- Digital proficiency (Eaglesoft/Dentrix experience)
