Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and hygiene support
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor vital signs
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Document client care progress and report concerns to clinical staff
- Light housekeeping tasks to maintain safe living environments
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional home health or caregiving experience
- Valid Tennessee HHA certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Reliable transportation with valid driver's license
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Strong communication skills and empathy for elderly/disabled clients
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
