Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and package prescription medications for dispensing.
- Verify prescriptions for accuracy and completeness before dispensing.
- Assist pharmacists in the compounding of medications and maintaining controlled substance logs.
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and conduct monthly stock audits.
- Provide exceptional customer service and answer patient inquiries regarding prescriptions and insurance coverage.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in compliance with HIPAA and state regulations.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) required.
- Active state licensure as a Pharmacy Technician in Tennessee.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with pharmacy management software systems.
- High school diploma or GED required.
