Responsibilities
- Accurately verify and prepare prescriptions under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Manage inventory, including receiving, stocking, and reordering pharmaceutical products.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, answering questions and resolving concerns with empathy.
- Assist in the maintenance of a clean, organized, and safe pharmacy workspace.
- Process insurance claims and handle financial transactions with high accuracy.
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and all state pharmacy board laws.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure an efficient and smooth workflow.
Qualifications
- Current Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT) or registration in Arizona.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred but not required for top candidates.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift boxes up to 25 lbs as needed.
- Basic computer proficiency with pharmacy management software.
