Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Accurately monitor and document patient vital signs and health status
- Support patients with nutritional needs and meal preparation
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments following infection control protocols
- Transport patients safely within healthcare facilities
- Collaborate effectively with nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams
- Assist with patient positioning and repositioning to prevent pressure injuries
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current Texas CNA certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred (training provided)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Compassionate approach with genuine desire to help others
- Reliable transportation and ability to work rotating shifts
- Pass background check and drug screening
