Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care to residents including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning using proper techniques
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in resident condition to nursing staff
- Support mealtime assistance and ensure residents maintain proper nutrition
- Document care activities accurately and maintain resident confidentiality
- Participate in team meetings and continuing education opportunities
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current NM CNA certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days
- Basic computer skills for documentation
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication skills and empathy for elderly residents
- Must pass background check and pre-employment physical
- Valid driver's license preferred (not required for all shifts)
