Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to residents including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper techniques
- Monitor and document vital signs, food intake, and behavioral changes
- Support residents with activities of daily living and social engagement
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized resident environments
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members and family members
- Adhere to infection control protocols and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior healthcare experience necessary (training provided)
- Current California CNA certification OR willingness to obtain within 90 days
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required (training available)
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
