Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Help patients move safely between bed and wheelchair or to other locations.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Communicate any changes in patient condition or behavior to the nursing staff immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- CNA Certification preferred, but we accept candidates willing to obtain certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient-oriented demeanor.
- Ability to lift and move patients safely (up to 50 lbs).
- Basic computer literacy for electronic health record entry.
