Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our nursing staff as Entry Level Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). In this role, you will play a vital part in improving the quality of life for our residents and patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct personal care to patients, assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and document vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist with meal planning and preparation, ensuring dietary restrictions are respected.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe environment for patients and visitors.
- Support patients with mobility, including transfers and ambulation, using proper body mechanics.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license issued by the state of Illinois required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
